Rutherford County, A Community of Faith
The Interfaith Caucus of Rutherford County is committed to fostering understanding and collaboration among the diverse faith communities in our area. We believe in the power of dialogue and cooperation to build a stronger, more inclusive society. Join us in our mission to promote respect and harmony among all beliefs.
We bring faith communities together through events, service, and education, and provide expert guidance on minority faith inclusion. We work to ensure that diverse religious voices are not only acknowledged, but meaningfully represented in civic and community spaces. Our role is to make interfaith cooperation usable—something that operates in real conditions, not just in theory.

Upcoming
Gatherings
From interfaith dialogues to community service days, our events are designed to foster connections and celebrate our shared values. We host regular events aimed at bringing together individuals from various faith backgrounds. These gatherings provide opportunities for shared experiences, learning, and friendship among different communities.
“Our ability to reach unity in diversity will be the beauty and the test of our civilization.”

AFFIRMATION AND INCLUSION
We're explicitly trans affirming and fully inclusive of LGBTQ+ people and those of minority faiths in all aspects of this work, and our leadership reflects that commitment, including trans, nonbinary, and pagan leaders. We intentionally welcome minority faiths of all kinds, including pagan, satirical, new religious movements, humanist, atheist, and other nontraditional or non-majority belief systems. Participation is not contingent on conformity—this is a space where difference is expected, respected, and given equal standing.
